Xmas Rush

I am eating sleeping and breathing making art right now…

I LOVE IT… its definitely not the most balanced way to live and my body misses exercise and healthy food.. lol…

But I am thriving on the rush of it…   Here is a peak at some of what is happening in my studio…

Artsy Pictures from Portland Trip

Layla and I took a lovely trip to Portland this spring to celebrate Layla’s Birthday.  I had been to Portland several times to work, but they had always been quick trips mostly spent in hotels and convention centers.  So I had never really got to enjoy the quaintness of Portland.  Of course the quaintness of Portland has been artificially enhanced throw layers and textures on Photoshop.

This was a light fixture in an Anthropologie store made of plastic bottles that had been cut and painted. Brilliant use of recycling trash into art.

The disco version of the same details…  Its too bright and weird for me, but thought  the contrast was amusing.

More Anthropologie store decorations.. You know I really am not that crazy about the stuff they sell but they have brilliant store designers.

Portland love and a great use for a lot of wine bottles.
